Shelburne Farms; 9x12 mixed media collage, framed to 12x15

This mixed media collage is a joyful celebration of apple picking! Every fall we head to a local orchard to enjoy the fruits of the season, and then delicious baking and eating ensue. My daughter pulled two apples with leaves out of a tree at Shelburne Farms in Stow, Massachusetts and said, "mom! you have to paint this!" And so I did.

The media used include: oil pastel, wall paper, and hand-dyed yarn.
