The Larks, still bravely singing, fly; 11x14 mixed media collage, framed

This mixed media collage is inspired by John McCrae's poem "In Flanders Fields" which was written about the battlefields of WW1. The poem evokes hope and juxtaposes the beautiful landscape of Flanders with the atrocities of war.

The media used include: oil pastel, found objects, dried flowers, hand embroidery and machine stitching, ink, water color, fabric, and acrylic.

The image is 11x14 framed to 12x18.. Frame included, wired for hanging.
